Chapter 339 Treasure 1
Chapter 339 Treasure 1
Chapter 339 Bao Yi
Luffy cautiously reached out, his fingers trembling slightly, and slowly approached the sea monster's huge and ferocious head. He took a deep breath, then gently placed his palm on the sea monster's head, his movements as gentle as if he were caressing a precious treasure, or comforting a frightened child.
Unexpectedly, the sea monster, which had initially appeared ferocious with bared fangs, slowly opened its large, bell-like eyes after feeling the warmth and kindness from Luffy's palm. At first, the sea monster's eyes were full of wariness, but as time passed, the hostility in its eyes gradually dissipated, replaced by a gentle and docile demeanor.
Seeing this astonishing scene, Luffy was overjoyed. His eyes widened, and a bright smile spread across his face, his excitement overflowing. Just then, a bold idea surged into his mind, and Luffy made up his mind without hesitation—he would embark on a brand new adventure with this powerful sea monster!
Without hesitation, Luffy nimbly leaped into the air and landed steadily on the sea monster's broad back. Standing there like a majestic knight, he shouted triumphantly to his crewmates, "Let's go, guys! We have a new crew member joining us!"
Hearing Luffy's shout, Sanji, who was busy in the cabin, hurriedly poked his head out of the window. Looking at Luffy, who was cheering and jumping on the sea monster's back, he gave a helpless, wry smile and yelled, "Luffy, don't be so happy yet! What is that guy eating? Don't let him eat all the food we've painstakingly stored up!"
Seeing Sanji's worry, Luffy casually scratched his messy hair and laughed, "Haha, Sanji, don't worry so much! There's always a way out, right?" After saying that, he turned around and affectionately patted the sea monster's neck, signaling it to continue.
Upon receiving the command, the sea creature swung its tail joyfully and quickly caught up with the ship's speed. It moved like a nimble fish, cutting through the turbulent waves. Before long, they entered a mysterious and unpredictable sea area.
The sea was shrouded in a thick fog, a vast expanse of white obscuring the path ahead. The fog shifted unpredictably, sometimes dense, sometimes thin, creating a dreamlike atmosphere. The surroundings were eerily quiet, broken only by the occasional roar of waves crashing against the rocks. A strange, ethereal song drifted through the air. Usopp gripped his weapon tightly, tense. "I have a bad feeling," he said. Luffy, however, seemed unfazed, pointing excitedly ahead.
Suddenly, a group of winged fish-men burst from the mist and attacked the ship. Luffy, standing on the sea monster's back, shouted, "Watch our power!" The sea monster roared and charged forward. Luffy stretched out his arm and punched a fish-man away, while the sea monster used its massive body to smash through wave after wave of enemies. During the battle, the sea monster displayed overwhelming strength, making Luffy laugh even more heartily. This adventure had become even more exciting and thrilling because of their new companion.
After a fierce battle, the fish-men were gradually overwhelmed by Luffy and the sea monster's combined strength and fled in defeat. Luffy patted the sea monster and laughed, saying, "Well done, buddy!"
As the fog began to dissipate, an island gradually came into view. Luffy shouted excitedly, "Wow, there's an island ahead! It's going to be super fun!" The group headed towards the island.
Upon landing on the island, they discovered it was filled with strange plants and bizarre creatures. The sea monsters sniffed around curiously. Suddenly, a huge, rabbit-like creature covered in sharp spikes leaped out and charged straight at Nami. Luffy reacted quickly, kicking the creature away.
Then, a melodious flute tune rang out from the island. Everyone looked in the direction of the sound and saw a little figure dressed in peculiar clothing playing the flute. The little figure wasn't afraid of Luffy and his crew at all; instead, he invited them to visit his village.
