Just in case, I checked again, but there really was nothing to add. The tiered-up genes were OP, and everything not vital was thrown out for the more important things!

Queen Attendants brought reports from other bees, mostly my Advisers—since other bees reported to them—and gathered them in the Council Chamber. Thanks to the existence of the candles, I could close the chamber for privacy and quiet as I read them.

'Oh, Researchina's girls still couldn't make glass? Well, I told her to not put too many people on this, it's just a side project because scouts found some white sand. Although… Wait, they think they can cover pottery in it? Did they just invent *glaze*?! Even if it's just a prototype…'

I picked a clean wax tablet and told Researchina to *absolutely* invest more into glazing. It would make our pottery more dependable.

After I finished, I gave the tablet to one of the waiting Attendants, who would deliver it to Researchina.

It was a good thing we were on alert now!

But the next report made me smile even wider.
