Chapter 215 Classroom Review

Chapter 215 Classroom Review

No classes, endless homework, and no gossip about anyone being put in detention made this weekend a relatively peaceful one.

Gloria now only appears in the auditorium at breakfast time.

As students received today's Daily Prophet, the chatter grew noticeably louder.

"There's enough homework, the lessons she teaches are meaningless, and there are new educational orders in the second week." Draco was annoyed by all the changes.

Umbridge's disgusting smiling face occupied a large area in the newspaper, and the headline was that she was appointed as the first High Inquisitor of Hogwarts.

Gloria put the smiling side on the table and said, "She has the right to censor other professors."

Draco said, "I hope she doesn't show up when we're in class."

"I heard that she hates half-human, half-beast, and intelligent magical creatures." Gloria said, "So the first person to be examined will probably be Professor Flitwick. We don't have a spell class in the morning."

Since Hagrid is not here, Professor Flitwick is the first choice.

With her new powers, Umbridge will surely be eager to exercise them.

As Gloria expected, Umbridge examined Professor Flitwick, who was teaching seventh-year students in the morning.

Fortunately, they did not encounter these censorships.

At the end of the day's classes, club members gathered in a secret room to do their homework and share the information they had heard during the day.

The first big thing was that Harry had another argument with Umbridge in her class.

"A student in their class said that Harry bluntly said that there was a mysterious person stuck on the back of Professor Quirrell's head."

This news has just spread, but it spreads quickly.

The reason was that Umbridge said that among all the professors they had in recent years, only Professor Quirrell was qualified.

Zabini shook his head. "Someone described to me in vivid detail how Umbridge looked, as if she had eaten one of her own kind. But she didn't get detention, and she was deducted fifty points from Gryffindor."

Draco snorted, "If you quarrel a few more times, Gryffindor will have nothing to do with the House Cup this year."

"Why doesn't she dare to put herself in detention?" Zabini was now more familiar with them and dared to ask boldly.

"Because we're returning the favor we did to her last time of putting her in solitary confinement." Gloria said calmly.

The students who were listening attentively were surprised. It seemed that Umbridge's confinement was very torturous.

Then he thought that Gloria was fine, and that her experience was probably similar to what they had in second grade, with her mouth sealed by a giant golden snake, so she couldn't say these things.

At the same time, they were more in awe of her for having the guts to fight back against the Ministry officials in the first week.

Zabini sighed, "This is Slytherin's bravery."

Be fully confident instead of rushing around recklessly and ending up with a bloody head.

I'm also glad that I made the right choice. Gloria is definitely expanding her influence outside. How many of her people will be in the Ministry of Magic?

Gloria said: "Fudge wanted to find an excuse to fire the professor and replace him with an official from the Ministry of Magic, and that's how Umbridge was inserted."

Draco frowned. "They want to take complete control of the school and remove Headmaster Dumbledore from power."

"It's impossible to have complete control. So many officials from the Ministry of Magic graduated here. We can't just turn a blind eye and say that the professors are bad. This is tantamount to rejecting our own studies." Gloria stared at the newspaper on the table. "So they will definitely cause trouble and use this excuse to remove individual professors from their positions."

"Fudge said that this education order was passed to make professors teach more seriously and correct their attitude towards education." A girl whispered. Her father worked in the Ministry of Magic and knew some inside information.

Draco just sneered at this.

Zabini leaned back on the sofa, "With one or two more Ministry officials, teaching the required courses, we wouldn't have to think about the Ordinary Wizarding Examinations."

"One Umbridge is enough." Gloria said calmly, "The appointment of professors at Hogwarts cannot be controlled by the Ministry of Magic."

Last time, Umbridge didn't dare to put her and Harry in detention because of the look she gave her last time. But this time...

Draco said, "I heard that Professor Trelawney of Divination gave Umbridge a prophecy that she would be in terrible danger."

He suspected that this terrible danger was brought by Gloria.

Gloria smoothed her hair and thought about the ending she had planned for Umbridge not long ago.

"That depends on how much Fudge can indulge her."

·

With the new education order to increase her confidence and power, Umbridge looks very proud wherever she goes.

However, this attitude was slightly broken the next day when she was reprimanded mercilessly when examining Professor McGonagall of the Transfiguration class. The students in the class reenacted the scene in full.

Even Umbridge's angrily writing expression on the parchment was imitated vividly.

In the afternoon Care of Magical Creatures class, when Gloria arrived, she found Umbridge standing next to Professor Grubbly-Plank.

I thought I wouldn't run into her reviewing other professors.

Seeing Gloria's unabashed smile, Umbridge's face instantly turned ugly.

Perhaps with Nemesis present, Umbridge's questions were standard, but Professor Grubbly-Plank was only a substitute teacher, and no matter how much she examined, she would leave when Hagrid came back.

About ten minutes later, Umbridge left and everyone relaxed.

As Gloria was pinching the earthworm and teasing the hunchback, someone tugged at the hem of her clothes.

"Leah." It was Hermione's voice.

The students around her who were on good terms with Gloria just glanced at her indifferently.

Draco took the earthworm from her hand and threw it to the Bowtruckle, which was holding out a twig.

Gloria led her to the back of the crowd, "What's wrong?"

"I haven't seen you in the Great Hall recently." Hermione said, "Thank goodness for your help. Harry lost control of his emotions again yesterday. If it weren't for you, I'm afraid he would have to stay in detention for another week."

"This is only temporary. Fudge has been empowering her. Umbridge will not let go of targeting Harry, even you."

Hermione nodded. "I see. In fact, besides thanking you for this, I also want to borrow some books from you."

"What?" she asked.

"About the scar, and the control of magic." Hermione whispered: "I think something is wrong with Harry, especially when he told us that he couldn't control his temper."

"Headmaster Dumbledore is investigating this matter. You just need to accompany her as much as possible." Gloria said, "There is no good solution at the moment. He needs to do his best to control it. Umbridge's power will only grow."

"Can't the school board stop the Ministry of Magic from interfering?" Hermione couldn't stand what Umbridge did.

After several seconds, Gloria said, "Judging from the current situation, it cannot be stopped."

Hermione wasn't surprised by the answer, "I'm already making plans. I can't keep doing this."

Gloria looked up and saw that no one was paying attention to this place, so she asked, "What are you going to do?"

Hermione is smart and rational, but it makes sense that she was sorted into Gryffindor.

"We can't just sit there and wait for death. According to Umbridge's teaching method, the Defense Against the Dark Arts class will be terrible no matter what grade it is. I plan to find a student who is strong enough to teach this course. In fact... you are the first choice."

Gloria laughed softly, "I'm very busy, very busy, so I refuse in advance."

Hermione sighed, "I've already guessed it, so I'm considering alternative candidates."
