Chapter 204: Grade 5 Begins
Chapter 204: Grade 5 Begins
As expected, Harry was not expelled and could spend the rest of August well.
Until the day before school started, the list of books for Hogwarts arrived.
The school owl couldn't find Slytherin Manor, so the list of books was handed to Sirius for delivery.
"It's time to go to school soon, my house is quiet again, and the rest of the Order is getting busy." Sirius sat down and started mumbling.
Gloria flipped through the list of books. "When we go to Hogsmeade, why don't you go too?"
"Dumbledore said that a difficult guy is going to be a professor at Hogwarts, so you may not be able to hang out as often as before." He became annoyed when he mentioned this.
"You mentioned Umbridge. I looked up her information and she is really not that good." Gloria said this with a confident smile, "But I may have a way to deal with her."
Sirius's grey eyes sparkled, as if he had found a partner to play a prank with. "Use a curse on her?"
"It's much more effective than that." Gloria pointed at the book list and happened to point to "Magic Defense Theory". "With what she did in the Ministry of Magic, it will be even more excessive if she goes to Hogwarts. Not only will I embarrass her, but I will also condemn the Ministry of Magic."
As long as she catches him, she will humiliate Fudge.
"It's really exciting." Sirius' eyes were full of anticipation. "How about I transform into an Animagus form and sneak in."
Gloria didn't care much about this, "Just be careful."
"Hagrid won't be in school for the new school year, and it just so happens that I have a place to stay when I enter school. I just can't go there often, and I have things to do."
Gloria could understand. Even if Sirius didn't say it, she could guess what Hagrid was doing. She estimated that Mr. Lupin had also mixed in with the werewolves.
"Oh right." Sirius said, "I didn't expect Ron Weasley to be the Gryffindor boy prefect. I thought it would be Harry. The girl prefect is undoubtedly Hermione, that smart girl."
As for the fact that Gloria became a prefect, Sirius naturally knew about it; it was Dumbledore who told him so.
"Have you forgotten his dream?" Gloria said, "Who knows if the situation in the fifth grade will be even worse? It's a good thing that he is not made a prefect. After all, being a prefect is not just about deducting points."
Sirius shrugged, "That makes sense. It's time to go to Diagon Alley with Molly to buy you some books."
At this stage, the Order of the Phoenix certainly does not want the children to go out to avoid being attacked again.
Diagon Alley is not Little Whinging, so it is not surprising that some conflicts occurred.
Gloria looked up and said, "I want two servings of ice cream from Florin's Ice Cream Shop."
Sirius stood up energetically, "No problem."

Gloria and Draco spent the last day of the holiday together, and the boy finally saw her transformed into an ocean mermaid, which was breathtakingly beautiful.
I also went to accompany Adonis, whom I hadn't seen for a long time. This black flame dragon has grown into a huge monster.
After playing around, we waited for school to start the next day.
Sirius took them to King's Cross Station, and as for Harry, they were secretly escorted by several members of the Order of the Phoenix.
The station was still as busy as ever, and no one believed that Voldemort would come back.
Sirius hugged Gloria and said, "Even though you have a two-way mirror, I still hope you can write to me often."
"Of course," she said, "but I'll have an elf deliver the message."
Sirius patted Draco's shoulder with relief, "Take good care of her."
The boy nodded seriously.
The two of them then boarded the train, and Sirius stood at the window watching them.
The train started moving soon, and Gloria waved at him from the window until she could no longer see him.
"Come on, we're going to the prefects' box this year." Draco put his arm around her waist.
Gloria left the window, their suitcases floating behind them.
There are four prefecture boxes, each one dedicated to one of the four colleges. They are not as spacious as the other boxes, but they are private enough.
They came to the Slytherin box, which was obviously better decorated than the other three. There was a small sign embedded in the door with the name and emblem of the house.
Gloria sat down and put on the class monitor badge. Soon the two student union presidents would come over and give them tasks.
Soon, Hermione and Ron were seen. They were carrying boxes and found the Gryffindor box. As the door was not closed, Hermione saw them at a glance.
"Leah—"
Perhaps she was worried that if she went to that house often, Kreacher would follow her, so Gloria never went there again and they communicated through a two-way mirror.
"Hermione, how was your holiday?" A very polite greeting.
"August is a bit boring, but I also found something to do, which is reading."
This is very consistent with Hermione's character.
Draco was leaning against the door, and when he heard this he glanced over and saw the two Head Boys coming over. Surprisingly, the Head Boy was Cedric Diggory.
"Is everyone here?" The speaker was the Head Girl of the Student Union, from Ravenclaw House.
The Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw prefects arrived and opened the door upon hearing the noise.
Cedric spoke in a gentle voice. "The main task of the prefect is to maintain order. On the train, you patrol on time and assist students who need help. Of course, you must also stop any non-compliant behavior. At school, you have the responsibility to maintain order and rules. You have the right to deduct credits and put people in solitary confinement. Of course, this right cannot be used against prefects from other colleges."
Ron immediately glanced at Draco.
The Head Girl said, "The boxes are reserved for prefects. If you don't want to sit here, you can, as long as you don't forget to patrol."
After that, neither of them planned to sit here. Cedric's girlfriend, Qiu Zhang, was waiting not far away.
"You all need to conduct your first patrol now. You will decide the intervals for the following patrols. Even after you get off the train, you must remember to maintain order among the first-year students." Cedric gave his final instructions.
Qiu Zhang smiled and held out his hand to Cedric, and the two walked closer together.
The remaining eight prefects looked at each other awkwardly. Draco took the lead and said, "We will go on patrol first. You can do whatever you want."
The three houses didn't want to have much contact with Slytherin House, so they tacitly gave way.
Gloria waved to Hermione and walked towards the back of the carriage with Draco.
Most of the students in the box were chatting excitedly, and their laughter could be heard clearly through the door. As for the class leader passing by, they had no idea at all.
"It seems that being a class monitor will help me exercise more." Gloria raised her hand and cast a spell with her wand, which put the suitcases that were not fully put away in the box into the right place. The students inside heard the noise and saw them outside the door, and they immediately sat up quietly.
"How can we find students who are out of place and deduct points if we don't patrol?" Draco glanced lazily at each box.
However, it was his first day as a class monitor and he was on the train, so he was in no mood to deduct points from anyone.
After walking through several carriages, they saw Crabbe and others who had not been seen for the holiday. Draco sneered and passed by the compartment they were in.
After patrolling for more than half an hour, they were ready to return to the prefect's box. On the way back, they came across a food cart and simply bought some snacks before leaving.
