Chapter 106 Together in the Hospital

Chapter 106 Together in the Hospital

Mo Ze was shocked that Shen Nian would roll down from there. Seeing the scene before him, his heart jumped into his throat, and he almost forgot to breathe.

"Niannian!" he shouted.

Shen Nian rolled over and finally stopped two or three meters away from Mo Ze.

Only after she stopped did she dare to open her eyes.

Fortunately, she was wearing thick clothes and rolled down on a relatively flat surface, so she was not injured.

Coming to her senses, Shen Nian hurriedly ran towards Mo Ze. "Uncle, are you alright?" she asked anxiously, checking Mo Ze's body from head to toe.

Seeing him supporting his leg, he asked, "Is your leg injured? Let me help you up, and we'll hurry back to find a doctor."

As Shen Nian spoke, she prepared to help Mo Ze.

Moze stared at Shen Nian, who was muttering to herself without stopping, his eyes bloodshot.

He suddenly reached out, grabbed the back of her head, and kissed her.

Shen Nian felt warm lips, as if carrying an electric current, covering her lips, moving back and forth, seemingly restrained yet intensely desirous, invading her territory through their lips and tongue...

When the kiss ended, Mo Ze held her in his arms, panting, murmuring, "Niannian, Niannian..."

It was as if they were afraid she would disappear at any moment.

Shen Nian blushed and leaned against Mo Ze's chest, her heart pounding like thunder.

The two hugged for a while, then Mo Ze took Shen Nian's hand and looked her around, asking, "Are you alright? Are you hurt?"

Shen Nian shook her head. "It's nothing."

Moze breathed a slight sigh of relief. "Silly girl." Then he hugged her tightly again.

"Uncle, is your leg injured?" Shen Nian asked.

Moze didn't want her to worry, but since he couldn't walk, he had to tell the truth.

"Yeah, it might have broken."

"It's broken?! Let me see." Shen Nian's heart jumped into her throat.

She let go of Moze and then lay down to look at his legs, being very careful not to touch them.

“Uncle, let’s go back right now,” Shen Nian said with a determined look in her eyes.

A broken leg is no small matter; we need to go back immediately to get it treated and reattached.

She helped Moze up, saying, "Uncle, let me help you. Slowly stand up, and we'll walk back together."

Moze rejected her suggestion, saying she couldn't handle supporting him for too long and would become a burden.

"Go back first and find Q and the others. I'll wait here," Mo Ze said to Shen Nian.

Shen Nian disagreed, "I won't leave you here alone."

As she spoke, she put Moze's hand on her shoulder and actually helped him up.

"Uncle, lean on my back and we'll walk slowly." Shen Nian said and started walking forward.

Moze's entire weight was on her, and she practically carried him on her back.

"Niannian, listen to me, I'll wait here. You can't take this." Mo Ze was both distressed and anxious.

However, Shen Nian continued walking forward step by step with Mo Ze on her back, showing no intention of stopping.

At that moment, she seemed to be filled with strength, tense, with only one thought in her mind: to take the uncle back as soon as possible for treatment.

When they had walked about halfway, they heard K's voice, "Second Master, Niannian."

"Hurry, they're over there."

Then the four of them ran towards them together.

"Great, we've finally found you!" K said excitedly.

"Uncle, my leg is broken, quick!" Shen Nian said forcefully.

Q immediately took Moze and carried him on his back.

L rushed forward to check Moze's leg. "I'll use a branch to stabilize it first. We need to get back quickly; he might need surgery."

No one dared to delay, and they hurried back.

Q, a former soldier, was physically stronger than the others, and without hesitation, he carried Moze on his back.

An hour later, everyone returned to the resort.

It was already daylight.

Everyone got a car without any delay and drove straight to the city.

Moze was taken to the hospital immediately.

Surgery was indeed necessary, and L, wearing a white coat, went in with him.

The others waited outside.

Shen Nian was also outside.

After all that exertion, she was exhausted and, coupled with some oxygen deprivation, she fainted as soon as she sat down in the chair.

When Shen Nian woke up, she found herself in a hospital bed.

She shifted her body, trying to sit up to get some water; her mouth was terribly dry.

I had just sat up when I saw K smiling as he pushed the door open and came in from outside.

"Niannian, you're awake?"

Shen Nian nodded and immediately asked about Mo Ze's condition, "Is Uncle alright?"

"It's alright, don't worry. A broken leg is nothing to Second Master." K walked in casually and put the food he was carrying on the table. "I bought you some food. Take a look and eat whatever you like. The doctor said you fainted because you were exhausted and lacked oxygen."

"Thank you," Shen Nian said softly.

"Don't be so polite. It's all my fault for not keeping a close eye on you and sending you to find Second Master. Luckily you're alright, otherwise Second Master would have crippled me. Sigh, I didn't expect you to look so thin and weak, but you're so strong. You carried Second Master for so long. Amazing." K muttered to himself as he put some food on the small table on the bed for Shen Nian.

“It has nothing to do with you, Uncle won’t blame you.” Shen Nian said seriously. K looked into her innocent and naive eyes, paused for a moment, and seemed to suddenly understand why the Second Master had taken a liking to this girl.

Having endured so much darkness and hardship, their clear eyes seemed to purify the soul.

"It's a deal then. When Second Master wakes up, you'll have to plead for me," K continued with a smile.

"Okay," Shen Nian replied with a smile.

"Is the uncle still not awake? Which ward is he in?" Shen Nian continued to ask.

"Yes, the anesthesia hasn't worn off yet. She'll wake up later. She'll be on the same floor as you. I'll take you to see him later." K comforted Shen Nian, and seeing that she had started eating, he didn't disturb her any further and left the ward.

Shen Nian ate the minced meat and vegetable porridge, but didn't have much of an appetite. She was still a little worried about Mo Ze.

She ate half a bowl, put it away, lifted the covers, and got out of bed.

I walked down the corridor, intending to find Mr. Mo.

I met a nurse and asked her, "Hello, could you tell me which ward Mr. Moze is in? He's the one who just had surgery today after breaking his leg."

The nurse naturally had a deep impression of Mo Ze; after all, with such an outstanding face, it was hard not to remember him.

"Oh, I know, it's in 808. I'll take you there."

"Thank you."

The nurse warmly led Shen Nian forward, and Shen Nian followed silently.

"We're here, this is it." The nurse led Shen Nian to the door of room 808 and then left.

What Shen Nian didn't know was that this floor was all VIP wards, and only she and Mo Ze were staying there. That's why the nurse didn't ask her anything and just brought her over.

Shen Nian stood at the door of the ward, gently pushed it open, but hadn't gone in yet.

At a glance, you can see a person lying on the hospital bed with one leg in a cast, eyes closed and still unconscious.

She tiptoed in and sat down on the chair by the bed.
