When Yu Tiantian arrived at the Ji family the next day, she greeted Song Qianyi and Ji Jingshen as usual, went upstairs and entered the study with Suisui. After sitting for a short while, she made an excuse to go downstairs and hide in the shadows to observe the two's movements.

She glanced at the rain in the distance and then looked away. Yu Tiantian walked outside and saw Aunt Wang: "Aunt Wang, where did Mrs. Ji go? It's raining so hard."

"Madam, something came up at the company and she rushed over to handle it. I'll have to talk to you later. She'll probably need to eat when she gets back, so I'll go prepare some food for her."

Yu Tiantian nodded and smiled as Aunt Wang left. Her opportunity had finally arrived, but even God didn't want her to miss it.

After the tutoring session ended, Yu Tiantian stood hesitantly in the lobby, carrying her bag in both hands. When she saw the housekeeper, she mustered up her courage and walked over.

"Uncle Lin, I have a request to make of you."

The housekeeper didn't think much of it and let her go upstairs. Yu Tiantian stood at the door and waited until she heard the sound from the stairwell before quietly opening the door and going in. Sui Sui was lying on the bed, sleeping soundly.

She breathed a sigh of relief and turned to walk towards the stairwell, when her forehead bumped into a solid chest. She covered her forehead and stumbled backward, looking up at Ji Jingshen.

A thunderclap sounded outside, and Yu Tiantian screamed in fear, throwing herself into Ji Jingshen's arms. She grabbed his clothes with both hands, pressing her chest against his, still reeling from the shock.

Suddenly realizing something, Yu Tiantian sat up abruptly. "I'm sorry, Mr. Ji, I didn't mean to. It was raining too hard outside, so I stayed behind. I was worried that Sui Sui would be scared, so I wanted to come up and check on her."

The two were still close together when Yu Tiantian looked up and met Ji Jingshen's downcast eyes. She stared into those eyes, and tentatively reached out with her fingers, touching Ji Jingshen's hand.

Her neckline was quite loose, and given Ji Jingshen's height, it was easy to see the underwear she was wearing. Ji Jingshen looked away and then focused his gaze on her lips.

Yu Tiantian took her hand and placed it on her lips, gently rubbing it: "I know Mrs. Ji isn't home tonight."

A bolt of lightning struck down outside, landing on the two of them through the window. Ji Jingshen reached out and grasped her hand, then cleared his throat.
